Leadership skills development

To become a good leader, one needs to alternate between four different leadership roles depending on the situation: the strategist, the controller, the developer, and the expert. It\'s personality-dependent as to which role someone naturally spends more time in, but it\'s not beneficial if their balance is disrupted. Leadership skills development training helps in restoring and finding this balance effectively.

For whom do we recommend our Leadership skills development training?

A leader’s approach significantly influences team performance, morale, and motivation. A leader who spends too much time in the controlling role and neglects the role of the developer may find that their team members are not progressing according to their talents or expectations. Conversely, it’s also problematic if a leader focuses solely on development but fails to hold people accountable. Warning signs include demotivated employees, lack of loyalty, and the inability to designate a successor. Imbalance is evident when a leader finds it easier to do certain tasks themselves rather than teach their team, or if they fail to focus on KPIs on a day-to-day basis, only inspecting them during performance reviews. If a leader doubts their ability to lead their team because they feel incapable of doing the work themselves, or if they struggle to monitor employees, enforce rules, or provide feedback on poor performance.

Results of Leadership skills development training

Participants in the training gain awareness of how much time they currently spend in each role and learn where they should focus more. This makes them more confident, successful, and effective leaders, benefitting both superiors and their teams. Their short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals and tasks align harmoniously as leaders. They gain clarity on priorities, make decisions more efficiently, and handle people development, supervision, motivation, and task delegation with ease.
