Zoltán Merkert
Lean business unit manager, senior trainer-consultant
For the development of an organization, it is essential that both leaders and employees work with contentment to achieve its goals.
Zoltán Merkert has completed over a thousand hours of training, primarily for leaders, building on his professional expertise and his own experience as a manager in the business sector. Additionally, he engages in organizational development and consulting for entire companies or specific departments. He believes that an organization can demonstrate significant, even seemingly unimaginable, growth if both leaders and employees work with greater satisfaction.
In his trainings, he emphasizes creating an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust, which he considers fundamentally based on honesty and the effort to understand others' opinions. In both his trainings and consulting, as well as in his leadership roles, he finds it essential to maintain a balance between guidance and support. He believes that if core operational issues within the organization or group can be "fixed," much better business results can be achieved. Through these methods, he has achieved significant results in crisis management, as well as in increasing efficiency at both the production and corporate levels.
After earning his degree in business administration, he completed advanced corporate management and MBA studies in 2008. He gained decades of senior management experience as a production director, logistics director, and then as an executive director at manufacturing companies. As the head of the Lean division at AGORA Institute, his primary role is to provide practical training on Lean as a comprehensive methodology focused on continuously evolving and increasingly efficient management and profit improvement for companies.
